Industrial Safety and Occupational Health
Ensuring industrial and fire safety and safe working conditions is among the Company’s strategic objectives and in line with its overall development concept until 2030. The Company is guided by the international best practices in the field of health and safety and seeks to use the most advanced approaches towards the management of these issues.
- The Company has in place an Integrated Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System (IHSEMS); the key principles and priorities in this area are defined by Rosneft’s Safety, Health, and Environmental Policy.
- The development of the Company’s Emergency Prevention and Response Policy whose main aims included identifying the most significant risks and key performance indicators with regard to emergency management and defining roles and responsibilities in the area
- The center also developed much more stringent criteria for emergencies compared to the respective federal legislation, with reflects the Company’s commitment to the international best practices in the field of safety.
Health screening/assessment frequency:
Annual OHS and industrial safety competition of Rosneft subsidiaries are conducted. It is reported that 31,900 OHS inspections at Rosneft subsidiaries were conducted in 2013
